ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
HOPAN is a church located in Uptown, Chicago. The ministry is organized by Christian Church leaders and lay people to respond to the growing crisis of homelessness in the wider Chicago area.
OUR VISION
The purpose of HOPAN is to develop a church for homeless people in order to guide them to God for restoration, rehabilitation, and salvation- while also promoting spiritual, emotional, and physical wellness.
OUR COMMUNITY
The name "House of Prayer for All the Nations" comes from Mark 11:17, where Jesus quotes Isaiah 56:7: "My house shall be called a House of prayer for all the nations." Our community is open to people from any nationality, culture, economic status, and living situation.
